my best-looking customer

At this time of year I don’t often get to see Stuart in daylight: during the week one or other of us will be out of the house by 7.15 am (and often much earlier) and we aren’t back in the same city until 11 or 12 hours later. So although this scarf has been in service all week, today was the first opportunity for a real-life photoshoot. How lovely that the sun decided to shine.

The full frontal exposure is for our eyes only: Stuart doesn’t usually show off as much scarf as that. The general public only get a little glimpse:

I’m please with how it has turned out. I did the wash-by-hand-and-tumble-dry-for-20-mins thing again, which has reduced the woven length slightly from about 86″ to 74″ and produced a lovely plump soft fabric. The fringe is just over 5″ long. Stuart is 6’4″ so a long scarf isn’t that long when he wears it.

Not just a handsome customer, but a very happy looking one, by the looks of it. (And so he should be – it’s also an exceptionally handsome scarf!) I love how sophisticated and cravat-like it looks, just peeking out the collar of a smart coat.

Lovely pictures! But 6’4″!! I might just come up to his knee in that case!

Well, then, go spend some quality time together.
