Yesterday I assembled a mood board in my chosen colours — working backwards, somewhat, since I selected the colours as my inspiration and then the cuttings to go with them rather than the other way around — and I was particularly interested in the different scales of design I collected. I had been thinking in terms of a large scale design but now I am pondering mixing scales for a bit more adventure.
I didn’t have very long to contemplate it, however, as a visitor arrived.
I posted this on my Facebook page and I can’t help noticing that more people like the board with the cat in front of it. Hmmmm.

That’s because we cat lovers understand having a cat arrive between you and your work. 🙂

Well, you might have seen that Gracie likes to position herself between me and my computer monitor. It’s her way of saying “dammit, pay attention to me, not that #$^)(&%^ screen!” (see http://sandrarude.blogspot.com/2011/11/but-can-she-type.html). On occasion, I can distract her by making the mouse pointer move around the screen, but only for a mcrosecond before she resumes demanding attention. I’m looking forward to what you do with that mood board!
