Dreadful news from Glasgow this afternoon: the School of Art’s Mackintosh building is on fire. The amazing building as well as its library and archives are irreplaceable treasures. Very, very sad.

Cally – my husband and I are sick about this dreadful loss. He used to visit Glasgow on business fairly often, and said he always made a point to go to see that beautiful building. My hearts go out to the students as well as the residents of Glasgow. Laurie

So sorry to hear about the fire. Historic buildings like that are indeed a treasure. On a fiber note, isn’t it fun when you can get warps and wefts not perpendicular to one another? Nice samples!

Huge fan of the grid-defiance! Great samples.
