Exhausted…

We had a lovely week for POS in Morag’s gorgeous Kirkside Studio. The sun shone most of the time, but even when the days started out foggy we had the pleasure of seeing the hills gradually coming into focus as the mist lifted. There were plenty of visitors, lots to chat about, many items went to new homes and I had some fun weaving on the table loom as well. I also spent a couple of mornings invigilating at the showcase exhibition at the Bield, which is another beautiful location. Altogether it was a great experience, but I ended the week completely exhausted. I actually had to retire from the scene half a day early due to migraine and missed most of Sunday.

Back to work yesterday – and mainly unwove what I attempted to weave. I seem to have forgotten how it’s done! Things going a bit more to plan today AND I swept the floor. Brownie points to me.

Hi Cally – sorry you had to deal with a migraine – hope you are all recovered now. The older I get the more I realize how precious our bodies are. Learning how to take care of mine so I can keep on weaving. 🙂
