Just over half way

I ration my time spent sectionally warping so that the whole task is spread out over about a week. With 40 two-centimetre sections to fill for this warp, that means 8 sections a day which I do in two sessions of 4 each. Except that the yarn arrived late on Monday so I only managed one group of four, and have been catching up with 9 a day – making 22 so far.

In the meantime, weaving is progressing on the woolly warp, with experiments in yellow, blue and currently magenta. I can show you the blue, although the pattern is barely visible. The latest photo – of the magenta – is on my phone and I’m beyond synchronising devices, having just blown up an external hard drive. Sigh.

I love the choice of color in the textile you’re weaving!
